  1. Content: As the Journal of Education Studies aims to promote academic research, academic papers related to education, such as theses, survey reports and case studies, are welcomed. Non-academic works are not accepted.
  2. Deadline: Submissions are accepted all year round and reviewed immediately. The Journal is published every April and October.
  3. Word count: No more than 20,000 words, with abstracts available in both Chinese and English (no more than 300 words each in general) and 2–5 key words.
  4. Format:
    • The Journal is printed in A4 size. Manuscripts should be typed on A4 size paper.
    • Rules for electronic files are as follows:
      1. Please save as Word file.
      2. Please do not use any command (including the typesetting command).
      3. No space is needed between Chinese characters and English letters.
    • For more information, please refer to the Manuscript Format Guidelines for Journal of Education Studies.
  5. Review: Anonymous review is adopted. A formality examination is first conducted, followed by deliberation by scholars and experts from both inside and outside the school who specialize in relevant fields upon invitation by the Journal of Education Studies Editorial Board. Publication of manuscripts depends on editorial considerations.
  6. Authorship responsibility and copyright transfer: In case of simultaneous submissions or withdrawal of accepted or revised and published papers, manuscripts submitted by all the authors concerned will not be accepted within a year. For papers accepted by the Journal, authorization should be granted to the University to publish the papers in paper format, in compact disc format and online.
  7. Submission: Please submit two copies of the paper version of your manuscript and an electronic version to the Journal of Education Studies Editorial Board of National University of Tainan at No.33, Sec. 2, Shulin St., Tainan City 700, Taiwan (R.O.C.). Please send the paper version via mail and the electronic version via e-mail. Please prepare duplicate copies, as submissions will not be returned.
  8. Acceptance notice: Authors will be notified via e-mail when their submissions are received, and they will be informed of the review results as soon as possible.
  9. Proofreading and reprints:
    • The Journal reserves the right to delete or revise the text of accepted manuscripts when necessary.
    • Authors are responsible for proofreading typeset galleys; the Editorial Board is only responsible for format proofreading.
    • No contribution fee will be given. Ten reprints and a compact disc file will be provided for the authors free of charge after their papers are published.
